• Fired up the furnace for the first time today.  It is temporary until we are ready for the Geothermal.

• Visited the cabinet maker today.  So far they look great!

The big piece is for the Frig & Freezer.  Cabinets across the top and the left are spice and oil racks, which will be next to the stove top. 

The other taller piece to the left of this piece, is the pantry that will be over by the coffee center.  I will also have a big pantry in the laundry room area.

This piece will have the stove top on the right side.  Above the left cabinets will be the microwave

Far left is the piece that will house the microwave with cabinets on top.

Next are the cabinets that will be to the right of the sink

Next is the piece that will have a cutting board and some storage baskets.  This is left of the sink.

This is the piece for the double oven.  Was suppose to have a warming drawer but it didn't get sent, so decided I didn't need it anyways, so more storage instead

Sitting on the top are the cabinets to the right of the sink.

Sitting on the bottom is the piece that will go above the coffee center.  The cut out on the bottom right corner is for the little frig that is for things like creamers etc.  I guess it is actually a wine frig.

This will be the island.  Then my camera was full (I forgot to put the sd card back in)

• More Electrical - Furnaces are ready to fire up, probably in the morning.  Rough-in has moved to the lower level.  Yeah! the home stretch!

  • This is like a communications hubb of some sort - satellite, internet, security camera, light switch to the Christmas lights is there also I think.  I don't really "get" this corner but David does, so it's okay.  This will be housed in the cabinetry around the fish tank.

• Electrical continued on main floor but about to wrap it up.  Electrician said that we will have 5 miles of wire in this house.

• The blower was installed in the fireplace.

• Started drywall in the tray ceiling in the master bedroom

• Electrical continued.  Got the fireplace fired up today.  Yeah!  But it was turned off when I got there.

• Lots of little things were done to get ready for drywall, probably on Wednesday.  Stairs were framed up.  Fish tank was framed up.  Pocket door for the Kitchen pocket office was framed up.

• Few columns were wrapped on back porch

• Spray Foam is Complete on the Main Floor!  It looks AMAZING!
• Electrical also continued.  Probably another week yet on the main floor before electrical is complete.  I think on the lower level, we will just use flashlights and lanterns.

• Was so happy to see the dozer working this morning.  Then when I came back later, and as I walked around the edges, it really hit me hard.  This is the last step in the demolition, finish covering up the old house.  It was very very sad for me.

• Propane tank for Fireplace.  It will pretty much be concealed by the stairs landing.

• Spray foam in the upstairs family room, the 2 story foyer and north wall.  It looks FANTABULOUS!  So nice and toasty upstairs.

• Things are Rocking in the F.R.O.G!!!  This is the reading nook.

• This is one of the doors that was ordered to see how the closet door switch was going to work inside the door jam.  Theory is, door opens, light turns on.  Door closes, light goes off... Interesting concept.
